Target Information
Mouse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D (VEGFD) is a secreted glycoprotein that promotes both angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis by binding to and activating VEGF receptors VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3. It is involved in the growth and remodeling of blood and lymphatic vessels, playing a key role in embryonic development and tumor progression. VEGFD is also implicated in cancer metastasis, as its expression correlates with lymph node metastasis and poor patient outcomes in various human cancers.
