Target Information

Mouse transforming growth factor beta receptor III (TGFBR3, betaglycan) is a 110 kDa co-receptor whose heparan-sulfate-decorated ectodomain presents TGF-β2 and -β1 to type-II receptors, while a 24-residue juxtamembrane "EQQ" stalk (aa 760-783) folds into a β-hairpin unique among mouse proteoglycans. Antibodies targeting this stalk trace native TGFBR3 in cardiac fibroblasts, hepatic stellate cells, and glomerular podocytes, delivering crisp membrane rims and single-band clarity on immunoblots with no cross-reaction to endoglin or type-II receptor.
