Target Information

Mouse TRAF6 is a cytoplasmic signal scaffold protein with conserved RING and TRAF interaction domains that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It is widely distributed in immune, epithelial and mesenchymal cell populations across all major organ systems. Its multi-domain intracellular adaptor architecture and ubiquitous tissue expression separate it from plasma membrane-bound receptor proteins, secreted circulating immune ligands and chromatin-interacting nuclear transcription factors with simplified single-domain structures and narrow cell-type expression ranges.

Target Mouse TNF Receptor Associated Factor 6
Target Synonym RNF85; E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRAF6; Interleukin-1 signal transducer
Gene ID 22034
