Target Information

Mouse TFPI2 is a secreted serine protease inhibitor containing multiple conserved Kunitz-type inhibitory domains. It retains stable globular folding and intact target-binding loops under physiological conditions, accumulating in extracellular matrix and bodily fluid spaces across connective tissues. Its soluble secreted nature and tandem Kunitz domain arrangement separate it from integral membrane receptors, mitochondrial catalytic enzymes and intranuclear transcription factors with simpler single-domain structures and confined subcellular localization patterns.
