Target Information

Mouse Thyrotropin-Releasing Hormone (TRH) is a tripeptide hormone synthesized in the hypothalamus. It stimulates the release of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) from the anterior pituitary gland, which in turn regulates thyroid hormone production. TRH acts through G protein-coupled receptors, primarily in the pituitary gland, to modulate endocrine functions. This hormone also has roles in the central nervous system, influencing neurotransmission and stress responses.
