Specifications
Target Information
Mouse TGF-β-inducible early response gene 1 (TIEG1, KLF10) is a 480-residue nuclear transcription factor that contains an N-terminal SPXX-rich transactivation domain, three C-terminal C2H2 zinc fingers that bind GC-rich motifs, and a central SID domain recruiting the Sin3A/HDAC co-repressor complex. Expressed predominantly in osteoblasts, pancreatic islets and activated T cells, TIEG1 localizes to euchromatin and undergoes phosphorylation within its zinc-finger region. Antibodies raised against full-length or zinc-finger peptides detect native, phosphorylated and truncated isoforms with negligible cross-reactivity to other Krüppel-like factors, enabling selective immunoblot and immunofluorescence analysis in mouse tissue homogenates and cultured cells.
