Mouse TSK1 is a cytoplasmic serine/threonine kinase carrying conserved catalytic and protein-binding domains that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It exhibits predominant expression in testicular cell populations and forms multiprotein complexes to regulate intracellular signaling cascades. Its multi-domain enzymatic structure and gonad-specific distribution differentiate it from secreted immune cytokines, transmembrane cell surface receptors and nuclear transcription factors with simplified single-domain assemblies broadly distributed across non-reproductive somatic cell subgroups.
