Target Information
Mouse SRSF protein kinase 3 (SRPK3) is a cytoplasmic serine/threonine kinase of the SRPK family. It features a conserved catalytic kinase domain, multiple regulatory phosphorylation sites and a C-terminal domain critical for substrate targeting and structural stability. It localizes to cell cytoplasm and nuclear speckles, with tissue-specific expression in mouse skeletal muscle and heart, with negligible levels in non-muscular tissues. The protein mediates substrate phosphorylation and molecular interaction, with conserved motifs for binding specificity. Mouse SRPK3 shares core functional domains with mammalian orthologs, and has distinct tissue tropism differentiating it from SRPK1 and SRPK2.
