Target Information
Mouse SIRT3 is a 28 kDa NAD+-dependent deacetylase that localizes to the mitochondrial matrix. A 14-residue surface loop (aa 248-261) is unique to the murine sequence and projects away from both the catalytic cleft and the NAD+ pocket, remaining exposed when SIRT3 is bound to its substrates. Affinity antibodies against this peptide stoichiometrically pull down the native enzyme from liver, brown fat and heart mitochondria, giving single-band signals on western blot and no cross-reaction with SIRT1, SIRT2, SIRT4, SIRT5, SIRT6 or SIRT7.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
