Target Information
Mouse secreted Ly6/uPAR related protein 1 (SLURP1) is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored secreted protein of the Ly6/uPAR superfamily. It features a conserved three-finger disulfide-rich domain, multiple cysteine residues critical for structural stability, and a hydrophobic GPI-anchoring motif. It localizes to cell membranes and extracellular fluids of mouse skin, oral mucosa and immune tissues, with negligible levels in internal organs. The protein mediates cell signaling modulation and protein-protein interaction, with conserved motifs for receptor binding. Mouse SLURP1 shares core functional domains with mammalian orthologs, and has distinct tissue specificity differentiating it from SLURP2 and other Ly6 family members.
