Target Information

Mouse protein tyrosine phosphatase, non-receptor type 5 (PTPN5) is a cytoplasmic phosphatase with a highly conserved catalytic domain and stable globular folding. It is distributed across multiple cell types and resides mainly in the cytoplasmic compartment, with partial association to subcellular membrane structures. The protein maintains a rigid domain arrangement to preserve molecular integrity. Its characteristic cytoplasmic localization and phosphatase-specific structural traits clearly distinguish it from transmembrane, nuclear, and secretory proteins.
