Mouse POMT1 is an integral endoplasmic reticulum enzyme carrying conserved catalytic and substrate-binding domains that sustain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. Its multi-span membrane-bound enzymatic structure and tissue-selective abundance distinguish it from soluble secreted cytokines, cytoplasmic scaffold proteins and chromatin-associated nuclear transcription factors with simplified single-domain assemblies widely expressed across common somatic cell types.
