Mouse programmed cell death protein 6 interacting protein (PDCD6IP) is a cytoplasmic adaptor protein involved in cell death regulation and cytoskeletal reorganization. It features a conserved N-terminal coiled-coil domain for protein-protein interaction, a central proline-rich region for binding to signaling molecules, and a C-terminal domain critical for subcellular localization. It localizes to the cytoplasm and cell membrane of mouse immune cells, epithelial cells and fibroblasts, with negligible levels in terminally differentiated neuronal tissues.
