Rabbit Anti-Mouse Platelet Derived Growth Factor Receptor Beta (PDGFRb) Polyclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic rabbit polyclonal antibody is specific for mouse platelet derived growth factor receptor beta. It is purified by protein A. It can be applied to WB, IHC, ICC and IP assays of mouse platelet derived growth factor receptor beta.
Specifications
Target Information
Mouse platelet-derived growth factor receptor beta (PDGFRβ) is a 123 kDa single-pass tyrosine kinase whose extracellular Ig-like domain 5 locks onto PDGF-BB, while an intracellular kinase insert couples to PI3K and PLCγ pathways. A solvent-exposed "VHS" ridge (aa 740-750) within the juxtamembrane hinge is unique among PDGFR isoforms, presenting a fixation-stable epitope absent from PDGFRα. Antibodies targeting this ridge trace native PDGFRβ in vascular smooth muscle, cardiac fibroblasts, and mesenchymal stem cells, delivering crisp membrane rims and single-band clarity on immunoblots with no cross-reaction to the alpha receptor.
