Target Information

Mouse Plasminogen Activator, Urokinase (uPAR) is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein that binds to urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA). This interaction is essential for the degradation of the extracellular matrix and facilitates cell migration and invasion. uPAR is expressed on various cell types, including immune cells and cancer cells, and plays a critical role in processes such as inflammation, tissue remodeling, and tumor progression. In mouse models, uPAR is involved in similar pathways and is a key regulator of cellular activities related to tissue homeostasis and disease.
