Target Information
Mouse PAG1 is a transmembrane adaptor protein with conserved cytoplasmic tyrosine phosphorylation motifs that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It localizes to lipid raft microdomains on plasma membranes of immune cell populations including T and B lymphocytes. Its lipid raft-anchored multi-domain structure and immune lineage-restricted expression differentiate it from soluble secreted cytokines, cytoplasmic scaffolding mediators and chromatin-binding nuclear transcriptional regulators with streamlined single-domain assemblies and widespread tissue distribution across non-immune tissues.
