Target Information

Mouse PLCB3 is a cytoplasmic membrane-bound enzyme with conserved catalytic and regulatory domains that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It distributes across neuronal, epithelial and hematopoietic cell populations and interacts with membrane lipid substrates. Its multi-domain catalytic architecture and broad tissue expression differentiate it from secreted soluble cytokines, nuclear transcription factors and cell surface receptors with simplified single-domain assemblies that display limited distribution among specialized somatic cell subsets.

Target Synonym 1-Phosphatidylinositol-4,5-Bisphosphate Phosphodiesterase Beta-3
Gene ID 18797
