Rabbit Anti-Mouse Peroxisomal Biogenesis Factor 1 (PEX1) Polyclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic rabbit polyclonal antibody is specific for mouse peroxisomal biogenesis factor 1. It is purified by protein A/G. It can be applied to WB, IHC, ICC and IP assays of mouse peroxisomal biogenesis factor 1.
Specifications
Target Information
Mouse peroxisomal biogenesis factor 1 (PEX1) is a cytosolic AAA-type ATPase, a core regulator of peroxisome assembly and protein import processes. It features two conserved ATPase domains critical for nucleotide hydrolysis and conformational changes, a central coiled-coil region for protein-protein interaction, and a C-terminal domain for binding to peroxisomal membrane receptors. It localizes predominantly to the cytoplasm and peroxisomal membrane of mouse hepatocytes and renal cells, with negligible expression in peroxisome-deficient cell lines. The protein mediates the recycling of peroxisomal import receptors, with conserved structural motifs differentiating it from other PEX family members.
