Target Information
Mouse OVGP1 is a secreted glycosylated protein with conserved glycan and protein-binding domains that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It is selectively produced by epithelial cells lining oviduct tissues and assembles extracellular multiprotein complexes within the oviduct lumen. Its multi-domain secreted glycoprotein structure and reproductive tract-specific expression differentiate it from integral membrane receptors, cytoplasmic signaling mediators and nuclear transcription factors with simplified single-domain assemblies broadly distributed across non-reproductive somatic cell subgroups.
