Target Information
Mouse OTOR is a secreted extracellular matrix protein with conserved intermolecular binding domains that sustain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It displays enriched expression in inner ear and cartilage cell populations and assembles extracellular multiprotein complexes to maintain tissue structural integrity. Its soluble multi-domain matrix-supporting architecture and tissue-restricted distribution differentiate it from transmembrane receptors, cytoplasmic signaling adaptors and nuclear transcription factors with simplified single-domain assemblies widely distributed across general somatic cell subgroups.
