Target Information

Mouse osteopetrosis associated transmembrane protein 1 (OSTM1) is a conserved integral membrane protein with multiple transmembrane segments. It mainly localizes to lysosomal and endosomal membrane structures within bone-related and immune cells. This protein maintains stable molecular folding and structural integrity under physiological conditions. Its confinement to intracellular organelle membranes clearly differentiates it from nuclear, cytosolic and freely secretory proteins.
