Target Information

Mouse neutrophil cytosolic factor 2 (NCF2, p67-phox) is a 53 kDa tandem SH3-TPR scaffold that locks the oxidase complex into its active conformation. A solvent-exposed activation peptide (aa 199-210) bridges Rac-GTP and membrane cytochrome b558, presenting a conformational epitope unique among PHOX organizers. Antibodies targeting this peptide trace native NCF2 in bone-marrow neutrophils, lung macrophages, and cell-free supernatants, delivering crisp cytosolic puncta and single-band clarity on immunoblots with no cross-reaction to NCF1 or NCF4.
