Target Information
Mouse Monokine Induced by Interferon Gamma (MIG), also known as CXCL9, is a chemokine involved in immune cell migration and activation. It is produced by various cells in response to IFN-γ and plays a crucial role in recruiting T cells and natural killer cells to sites of inflammation. MIG binds to the CXCR3 receptor, promoting leukocyte adhesion and transmigration. It is also implicated in immune responses against viral infections and tumor surveillance. MIG is an important target for studying immune cell trafficking and inflammatory processes in mouse models.
