Target Information

Mouse Macrophage-Derived Chemokine (MDC), also known as CCL22, is a chemokine produced by macrophages and other immune cells. It plays a critical role in immune responses by attracting T cells and dendritic cells to sites of inflammation. MDC binds to the CCR4 receptor on these cells, promoting their migration and activation. In mice, MDC is involved in various inflammatory processes and contributes to immune cell trafficking. It also plays a role in the regulation of immune responses and the maintenance of immune cell populations.
