Target Information

Mouse leucine-rich alpha-2-glycoprotein 1 (LRG1) is a 50-kDa secreted glycoprotein ubiquitously expressed in mouse tissues, with elevated levels in liver, serum, and inflamed tissues. It belongs to the leucine-rich repeat family, regulating angiogenesis by modulating endothelial cell proliferation, migration, and vascular permeability. Beyond vascular biology, it functions as an inflammatory mediator, linking immune activation to tissue remodeling and repair in mice. Dysregulated expression associates with inflammatory disorders, fibrosis, and cancer progression. As a multifunctional mediator of angiogenesis and inflammation, mouse LRG1 is a critical target for studying vascular biology, inflammatory pathologies, and cancer-related angiogenesis.
