Rabbit Anti-Mouse Lamin B1 (LMNB1) Polyclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic rabbit polyclonal antibody is specific for mouse lamin B1. It is purified by protein A/G. It can be applied to WB, IHC, ICC and IP assays of mouse lamin B1.
Specifications
Target Information
Mouse lamin B1 is a 66 kDa type-V intermediate filament whose central α-helical rod and C-terminal immunoglobulin fold assemble head-to-tail tetramers, forming a stable meshwork beneath the inner nuclear membrane. A solvent-exposed 14-aa "KVE" loop (aa 415-428) between coil 2B and the tail linker folds into a β-hairpin unique among mouse lamins, presenting a conformational epitope preserved after nuclear envelope isolation and fixation. Affinity-purified antibodies targeting this loop trace native lamin B1 in nuclear lamina, replication factories, and mitotic spindle envelopes, delivering crisp perinuclear rings and single-band clarity on immunoblots with no cross-reaction to lamin A/C or lamin B2.
