Target Information
Mouse interleukin 22 receptor (IL-22R) is a transmembrane glycoprotein encoded by Il22r1 gene in Mus musculus, mapped to chromosome 1. It belongs to class II cytokine receptor family, featuring conserved extracellular fibronectin type-III domains, a single transmembrane segment and an intracellular domain lacking kinase activity. It localizes to cell membrane, with tissue-specific expression in mouse intestinal epithelium, skin, liver and kidney, with minimal levels in immune and neural tissues. The protein forms heterodimeric complexes for ligand binding, with conserved motifs critical for complex assembly and signal initiation. Mouse IL-22R shares core structural domains with mammalian orthologs, and has distinct ligand affinity differentiating it from other class II cytokine receptor family members.
