Rabbit Anti-Mouse Integrin Alpha V (ITGaV) Polyclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic rabbit polyclonal antibody is specific for mouse integrin alpha V. It is purified by protein A/G. It can be applied to WB, IHC, ICC and IP assays of mouse integrin alpha V.
Specifications
Target Information
Mouse integrin alpha V (ITGAV) is a 150 kDa type-I transmembrane glycoprotein whose seven-bladed β-propeller and thigh/calf domains pair with β1, β3, β5, β6 or β8 subunits to form receptors that recognize RGD motifs in extracellular matrix ligands. A solvent-exposed 14-aa "KVE" loop (aa 200-213) between blades 3 and 4 of the propeller folds into a β-hairpin unique among mouse integrin α-chains, presenting a conformational epitope preserved after ligand binding and fixation. Affinity-purified antibodies targeting this loop trace native ITGAV in vascular endothelium, osteoclast membranes, and fibroblast focal adhesions, delivering crisp surface rings and single-band clarity on immunoblots with no cross-reaction to ITGA5 or ITGB3.
