Target Information
Mouse helicase like transcription factor (HLTF) is a nuclear protein of the SWI/SNF ATPase family. It features a conserved helicase domain, a RING-type zinc finger motif and a DNA-binding region critical for structural integrity. It localizes to cell nuclei, with tissue-specific expression in mouse thymus, spleen and embryonic tissues, with low levels in adult muscle and liver. The protein mediates chromatin remodeling and DNA transaction, with conserved motifs for intermolecular interaction. Mouse HLTF shares core functional domains with mammalian orthologs, and has distinct specificity differentiating it from related helicase family members.
