Mouse guanylate binding Protein 4 (GBP4) is a large GTP‑binding protein with a conserved N‑terminal GTPase domain and a helical structural region. It resides mainly in the cytoplasm and shows inducible expression in various cell types. The protein forms a stable folded conformation capable of nucleotide binding and oligomerization. Its characteristic domain organization and cytoplasmic localization clearly distinguish it from other GTP‑binding proteins and interferon‑induced factors.
