Target Information

Mouse glial cell line derived neurotrophic factor receptor alpha 2 (GFRα2) is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored membrane protein with conserved ligand-binding domains. It localizes mainly to the cell surface and is expressed in neuronal and peripheral tissue compartments. The protein forms a stable folded structure to enable receptor complex assembly. Its GPI-anchored feature and tissue distribution clearly distinguish it from other neurotrophic factor receptors.
