Target Information

Mouse EPHA1 is a single-pass transmembrane receptor kinase equipped with conserved extracellular ligand-binding domains and intracellular tyrosine kinase segments to maintain intact protein conformation under physiological conditions. It embeds in plasma membranes of embryonic and epithelial cell populations. Its bifunctional membrane-spanning architecture and tissue-specific surface localization separate it from soluble secreted signaling molecules, cytoplasmic adaptor scaffolds and intranuclear transcriptional regulators with simplified single-domain assemblies and static single-compartment subcellular distribution profiles.
