Target Information

Mouse Endothelial Protein C Receptor (EPCR) is a transmembrane protein primarily expressed on endothelial cells and plays a crucial role in the protein C anticoagulant pathway. It binds activated protein C (APC) and enhances its anticoagulant activity by facilitating the inactivation of coagulation factors Va and VIIIa. EPCR also participates in cell signaling and cytoprotective functions, contributing to the maintenance of vascular integrity and endothelial homeostasis.
