Target Information

Mouse E-Cadherin (CDH1) is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule crucial for maintaining epithelial integrity and tissue architecture. It forms adherens junctions, mediating cell-cell contact and signaling. E-Cadherin is highly expressed in epithelial tissues, where it regulates cell polarity, proliferation, and differentiation. Its loss or dysfunction is associated with epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and cancer progression. As a key regulator of epithelial cell behavior, E-Cadherin is an important target for studying tissue development, homeostasis, and cancer biology.
