Rabbit Anti-Mouse Crystallin Gamma F (CRYgF) Polyclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic rabbit polyclonal antibody is specific for mouse crystallin gamma F. It is purified by protein A/G. It can be applied to WB, IHC, ICC and IP assays of mouse crystallin gamma F.
Specifications
Target Information
Mouse crystallin gamma F (CRYGF) is a cytoplasmic structural protein of the γ-crystallin family, a core component of the ocular lens. It features two conserved βγ-crystallin domains, a highly stable globular conformation and hydrophobic interaction motifs critical for structural integrity. It localizes to the cytoplasm of mouse lens fiber cells, with tissue-specific expression restricted to the ocular lens, and negligible levels in non-ocular tissues. The protein mediates lens transparency maintenance and refractive index regulation, with conserved functional regions shared with mammalian orthologs, and has distinct thermal stability differentiating it from CRYGA and CRYGB.
