Target Information
Mouse complement component 1, Q receptor (C1QR1) is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the C1q receptor family, a key mediator of complement system signaling. It features a conserved N-terminal collagen-like domain-binding region, a single transmembrane segment, and a cytoplasmic tail critical for structural integrity and downstream signal transduction. It localizes to the cell membranes of mouse macrophages, monocytes and dendritic cells, with negligible levels in non-immune cells and tissues. The protein mediates C1q-dependent phagocytosis and immune complex clearance, with conserved motifs for ligand binding and intracellular signaling. Mouse C1QR1 shares core functional domains with mammalian orthologs, and has distinct binding specificity differentiating it from C1QBP and other complement receptors.
