Target Information

Mouse cluster of differentiation 64 (CD64) is a high-affinity Fc-gamma receptor I (FcγRI) expressed on macrophages and monocytes. It targets the Fc region of IgG antibodies, anchoring immune complexes to the cell surface and triggering phagocytosis, respiratory burst, and cytokine release. CD64 thus bridges humoral and cellular immunity, providing a sensitive indicator of innate activation. Its selective binding to IgG makes it an ideal antigen for antibody generation, enabling precise detection in immunophenotyping and inflammation studies without species-specific artefacts.
