Target Information
Mouse CD42d (GP5) is the platelet glycoprotein V subunit of the GPIb-IX-V complex that captures von Willebrand factor at sites of vascular injury. Restricted to the platelet and megakaryocyte surface, it provides a selective marker for thrombopoietic lineage and thrombotic foci. Specific antibody detection enables sensitive quantification of circulating platelets, megakaryocyte imaging, and analysis of primary hemostatic responses without cross-reactivity to other hematopoietic cells.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
