Target Information
Mouse cluster of differentiation 209 (CD209) is a type II transmembrane C-type lectin receptor with conserved carbohydrate-recognition domains. It features a cytoplasmic tail for intracellular signaling, a transmembrane segment, and a C-terminal extracellular domain responsible for ligand binding. This protein is mainly distributed on the surface of dendritic cells and macrophages, localized to the plasma membrane and endosomal compartments. It exhibits stable structural folding and specific molecular recognition properties, differing from other C-type lectin family members in domain organization and binding characteristics.
