Target Information
Mouse chemokine C-C-motif receptor 7 (CCR7) is a 40-kDa G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) predominantly expressed on mouse T cells, B cells, and dendritic cells (DCs). It binds cognate ligands CCL19 and CCL21, mediating directed migration of immune cells to secondary lymphoid organs (lymph nodes, spleen) and inflamed tissues. This trafficking is critical for antigen presentation, T/B cell activation, and adaptive immune response initiation. It also regulates immune cell survival and lymphoid tissue homeostasis, supporting effective host defense against pathogens. Dysregulated expression impairs immune surveillance and contributes to inflammatory disorders or cancer metastasis. As a key mediator of immune cell trafficking and adaptive immunity, mouse CCR7 is a critical target for studying immunology, inflammatory diseases, and cancer immunotherapy.
