Target Information

Mouse Carbohydrate Antigen 125 (CA-125) is a high-molecular-weight glycoprotein primarily associated with ovarian and other epithelial cancers. It is produced by the epithelial cells of the peritoneum, fallopian tubes, and endometrium. CA-125 is commonly used as a biomarker for monitoring cancer progression and treatment response. In mice, this antigen is also expressed in certain tissues and can be detected in body fluids. Elevated levels of CA-125 are often indicative of malignancy or other pathological conditions, making it a valuable target for diagnostic and research applications.
