Specifications
Target Information
Mouse cadherin EGF LAG seven pass G-type receptor 2 (CELSR2) is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the adhesion G-protein-coupled receptor family. It features a conserved N-terminal cadherin repeat domain, multiple EGF-like motifs, a laminin G-like module and a seven-pass transmembrane region critical for structural integrity. It localizes to cell membranes of mouse embryonic tissues, neural epithelia and vascular endothelia, with negligible levels in adult skeletal muscle and adipose tissues. The protein mediates cell-cell adhesion and polarity establishment, with conserved motifs for intermolecular interaction. Mouse CELSR2 shares core functional domains with mammalian orthologs, and has distinct tissue specificity differentiating it from CELSR1 and CELSR3.
