Mouse BCL10 is a cytoplasmic signal adaptor protein equipped with conserved protein interaction domains that sustain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It is highly enriched in immune cell populations including lymphocytes and resides within cytosolic signaling complexes. Its multi-domain intracellular adaptor architecture and immune tissue-biased expression differentiate it from secreted cytokines, transmembrane receptors and chromatin-binding nuclear transcription factors with simplified single-domain assemblies that exhibit widespread expression across non-immune somatic tissues.
