It shows distinct tissue-specific expression and mainly localizes to the cytoplasmic compartment of specialized endocrine cells. The protein retains reliable molecular stability and structural integrity under physiological conditions. Its cytoplasmic distribution clearly differentiates it from nuclear, mitochondrial, and membrane-associated proteins.
