Mouse ARRB1 is a soluble cytoplasmic adaptor protein built with conserved receptor-binding and clathrin-interacting structural domains that maintain stable molecular conformation under physiological conditions. Its intracellular scaffolding architecture and ubiquitous tissue distribution distinguish it from transmembrane signaling receptors, secreted circulating peptides and intranuclear transcriptional regulators with streamlined single-domain assemblies and static single-compartment subcellular localization profiles.
