Specifications
Target Information
Mouse apolipoprotein A1 binding protein (APOA1BP) is a cytoplasmic and membrane-associated protein, a core regulator of lipid metabolism and apolipoprotein A1 (APOA1) functional modulation. It features a conserved N-terminal lipid-binding domain, a central coiled-coil region for protein-protein interaction, and a C-terminal domain critical for subcellular localization and binding affinity. It localizes to the cytoplasm and plasma membrane of mouse hepatic and intestinal cells, with negligible levels in non-metabolic tissues. The protein mediates APOA1 stabilization and lipoprotein assembly, with conserved motifs for binding to lipid particles and apolipoproteins. Mouse APOA1BP shares core functional domains with mammalian orthologs, and has distinct ligand specificity differentiating it from other apolipoprotein-binding factors.
