Target Information

Guinea pig TGFb1 is a multifunctional cytokine that regulates cell proliferation, differentiation, and immune function. It is a member of the TGF-β superfamily and exists as a homodimer. TGFb1 is stored in the extracellular matrix in a latent form, which is activated by binding to specific integrins or other milieu molecules. This protein plays a key role in tissue repair, fibrosis, and immune regulation. Dysregulation of TGFb1 signaling is associated with various diseases, including fibrotic disorders and cancer.
