Target Information
Canine cardiac troponin I is a 24 kDa thin-filament subunit whose N-terminal extension and inhibitory helix block actomyosin ATPase until Ca²⁺-troponin C binding releases the brake. A solvent-exposed 14-aa "KVE" loop (aa 150-163) between the inhibitory and C-terminal domains folds into a β-turn unique among canine troponin isoforms, presenting a conformational epitope preserved after fixation. Antibodies targeting this loop trace native cTnI in ventricular myofibers, Purkinje fibers, and serum, delivering crisp striations and single-band clarity on immunoblots with no cross-reaction to skeletal troponin I.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
