Pseudomonas fluorescens is a Gram-negative bacterium that is commonly found in soil, water, plants, and animals. In aquaculture, it serves as a prevalent pathogen for shrimp and various fish species. Additionally, P. fluorescens can infect humans and is known to cause outbreaks of bacteremia.
