Target Information

Small Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein E is encoded by the SNRPE gene in pigs. It plays a role in pre-mRNA splicing as part of the spliceosomal U1, U2, U4, and U5 snRNPs. It is involved in both the pre-catalytic spliceosome B complex and the activated spliceosome C complexes. Research showed that, SNRPB and SNRPE, both the core components of the spliceosome, were significantly overexpressed in HCC tissues and associated with a worse prognosis.
